I’ve been reading a lot about Warhammer gaming recently. I was a serious collector in my teens but I haven’t touched this hobby for years. Quarantine at home seems like a good time to restart these kinds of hobbies. It’s been a good time for baking and cello practice, too. What I’ve been doing I recently discovered Wahapedia with all of the updated unit statistics for Warhammer, and it has been fun re-living my high school days a little, reading over the content there.
I picked up the cello in November 2019. I’d been thinking about it for a long time, and, inspired by the Piano Guys, finally bit the bullet. Plan of attack My immediate goal is to be good enough to play at our church Christmas carols this year, but I haven’t been only practicing carols. I purchased Essential Elements for Strings: Cello (Book 1) when I started, and have simply been working through the exercises and watching a few videos to help with technique.
Well, here it is. I don’t have much to say at the moment except that I don’t understand the internet. Lots of following tutorials to get HTTPS with Hugo and Amazon S3 and a lot of things didn’t work. Hopefully this does - eventually. I do love baking and making ice cream. Today, I’ve decided to try making hot cross buns from scratch again. It’s been a few years. Then I’ll be trying a new ice cream recipe that uses orange marmalade and toasted breadcrumbs.
